About Legends of Laswynd
Every legend begins somewhere. This one begins beyond the storm.
Welcome to Legends of Laswynd, a fantasy book series created by author Michael Mathews.
Step into a world of enchanted forests, forgotten kingdoms, mysterious magic, and extraordinary people.
Laswynd is a place where wonder and danger exist side by side—and even the most ordinary person might find themselves at the center of an extraordinary adventure.
The Gloomy Meadows
An ordinary father. An impossible journey.
When a powerful storm draws Christopher Earl from his home in Virginia into the mysterious world of Laswynd, finding a way back to his children becomes his greatest challenge.
With unexpected companions at his side, Christopher journeys through unfamiliar lands, ancient mysteries, and a world where darkness is spreading.
MEET THE AUTHOR
Hi, I'm Michael Mathews, author and creator of Legends of Laswynd.
I've always wanted to create a fantasy world that feels alive—a place filled with unforgettable characters, extraordinary landscapes, mysterious magic, and stories that combine adventure, humor, friendship, and heart.
The Gloomy Meadows is the beginning of that journey, introducing readers to Christopher Earl and a world far beyond anything he imagined.
My hope is that Laswynd becomes a place readers love visiting, exploring, and returning to.
Thank you for joining me on this adventure. The best stories are the ones we get to share.
